25th Annual Pride in Our Homes Contest
Sponsored by
The Greater Fairfield Board of REALTORS
Who hasn’t driven by a colorful garden bed or inviting front yard and admired the homeowner’s creativity? The Greater Fairfield Board of REALTORS is now accepting nominations for the twenty fifth annual “Pride in Our Homes” contest. The annual competition gives residents a chance to say “thank you” to their fellow neighbors in town for making the community beautiful with their landscaping and gardens.
Fairfield residents have until June 10, to nominate a neighbor or themselves in one or more of three categories: Front of Home Appearance (curb appeal), Home Landscaping (which takes into account the entire property), and Whimsical Garden (creative and fanciful). Click here for an entry form or pick one up at the GFBOR office at 156 Round Hill Road in Fairfield (203 255 0497). Applications for nomination will also be printed in the Fairfield Citizen News and can be picked up at your favorite real estate office, or from various participating retailers in Fairfield.
Contest judging will take place during the third and fourth weeks of June, with landscape professionals making the final decision. Homes currently for sale are not eligible for the contest. Amateur gardeners only, please. Prizes will be awarded.
We proudly announce that Cathy VanTornhout was elected to begin the January 2011 term as a Director of the Fairfield Board of Realtors.
